TREVOSE, PA — (August 15, 2011) — Today The ASI Show announced the 2012 schedule for the Advantages Roadshow, visiting 40 cities throughout North America.
In 2011, the Advantages Roadshow attracted over 6,000 distributors, making it the advertising specialty industry's best-attended traveling show. Designed to bring together suppliers and distributors across the United States and Canada, the Advantages Roadshow provides a productive format for distributors to stay on the cutting edge without traveling far from home.
A number of changes will be made in 2012, including product-focused education sessions (all part of the ASI Certification Program) and co-branding with Advantages magazine that will include a new "On the Road With…" section — a Q&A with Advantages Roadshow exhibitors written monthly by Advantages editor Kathy Huston.
Nick DiNicola, Advantages Roadshow General Manager, shared, "While laying out the 2012 schedule, we made a strategic effort to formulate a calendar that provided the best timing and locations to allow us to penetrate the market fully. In doing so, we shortened the number of weeks on our calendar and added four super cities. The super cities will draw distributors from a wider vicinity and feature a full-day roster. Our goal is to stay focused on cities with a high population of ad specialty companies, guaranteeing strong distributor and supplier participation."

"We value the Advantages Roadshows," stated James Dunn from Bulldog Packaging Inc. (asi/42426). "They are a great way for us to target multiple cities and see numerous clients within a week's time. The one-on-one conversations we have with distributors are really beneficial. We get a good ROI from the Roadshows and always look forward to the next one."
"Targeting 130,000 industry distributor salespeople from more than 23,000 ASI distributor companies, the Advantages Roadshow delivers the perfect environment for suppliers to personally connect with prospects and clients — many more than they could see through personal phone calls in the same amount of time," said Karen DiTomasso, Vice President of Sales for the Advantages Roadshow.
All advertising specialty distributors and decorators are invited to attend for free. Suppliers interested in exhibiting at the Advantages Roadshow should contact Nick DiNicola at ndinicola@asicentral.com or their ASI Show sales representative at 800-546-3300.
