A thoughtful series of events spanning the entire U.S. at strategic times of the sales year

TREVOSE, PA
August 4, 2016ASI Show® today announced its 2017 schedule of  events, including three large convention center trade shows, five hosted buyer events, over 30 traveling roadshows and a star-studded roster of informative keynote speakers.

The ASI Shows, ASI’s flagship convention center trade shows, will be held in:

  • Orlando – January 18-20 at the Orange County Convention Center – featuring keynote speaker former Miami Dolphins Quarterback Dan Marino
  • Dallas – February 1-3 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center featuring keynote speaker co-founder and co-CEO of Texas based Whole Foods Market John Mackey
  • Chicago – July 11-13 at McCormick Place featuring keynote speaker co-host of ABC’s the Shark Tank Daymond John
ASI distributor and decorator members can attend the shows for free (a $199 value) and take advantage of ASI education and daily networking, including Gala Celebrations and an interactive show floor.

Registration for the 2017 ASI Shows is now open at www.asishow.com.

New for 2017, ASI Show introduced a new theme, “Creating Connections. Inspiring Creativity.”  Plus, ASI Show will launch a new roster of education courses and tracks, networking events on Education Day and the first exhibit day, and a matchmaking system to connect suppliers and distributors, built right into the registration site. These innovations help members make new industry connections and inspire them to build creativity into their ideas and client projects to grow sales.

fASIlitate, ASI Show’s hosted buyer events, will be held at five luxury venues across the country: The Ritz-Carlton in Denver, CO (March 13-16); Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle, WA (May 1-4); Omni Chicago Hotel in Chicago, IL (June 19-22); Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, FL (July 31-August 3) and Park Hyatt Washington in Washington, D.C. (August 21-24). ASI members are pre-qualified and invited to attend fASIlitate.

The ASI Roadshow will travel to 34 cities – 11 of which are brand new. Cities were selected based on overall population, concentration of ASI distributor members and promotional products sales. Plus, the Roadshow will intensify its focus on the West Coast – stopping in eight cities from Seattle to San Diego – and in the Northeast – stopping in eight cities from Boston to Richmond, two of the strongest sales regions in the country.

The roadshows give suppliers the opportunity to meet with local distributors who may not travel to large trade shows. All distributors are invited to attend for free. Plus, with the success of the end buyer component introduced in 2015, ASI distributor and decorator members can escort their clients to the ASI Roadshow.

In fact, end buyer participation for the ASI Roadshow has increased 217% to date over the 2015 ASI Roadshow season. And, distributor attendance has increased 14.3% during the first six weeks of the 2016 Roadshow.

ASI Show’s
newly launched event, Engage, hosted 66 supplier companies and nearly 500 distributors in 2016. To continue to provide events like this with higher engagement opportunities for the industry in 2017, ASI Show is working to take the points of success from this year’s Engage events and build upon them further to give the industry the success and growth they are looking for in this new format. More details will follow.

“We’re more proud than ever of the complete portfolio of 2017 ASI Show events,” said Rita Ugianskis-Fishman, senior vice president and general manager of ASI Show. “Each event is strategically timed and located to serve as many ASI members – and prospective members – as possible, so we can continue to help the industry make those meaningful connections that are designed to sustain and grow their business while continuing to help the promotional products industry thrive.”

Distributors interested in attending any of the ASI Show events should contact a registration specialist at 800-546-3300.

Suppliers interested in exhibiting or sponsorship opportunities should call 800-546-3300 or email showsales@email.asishow.com.

About ASI Show
The ASI Show Family of Events – ASI Show, fASIlitate, ASI Roadshow and Engage – fosters business-building relationships among ASI member distributors and suppliers, and includes options to meet the needs of the entire membership base. ASI Shows, the flagship series, are large-scale convention center trade shows held in Orlando, Dallas and Chicago. fASIlitate is a hosted buyer event that brings together the industry’s elite – top suppliers and million-dollar distributors – for three days of scheduled one-on-one meetings in resort venues across the country. The ASI Roadshow visits top cities across the U.S. and gives distributors an opportunity to escort their top clients. Engage will continue to evolve, and serve as a hybrid event, combining the best of all event formats.  Visit www.asishow.com for more information about our full event portfolio.
